To reduce the risk of electrical shock and fire,caused by a faulty appliance and To comply with the Electricity at work Regulations 1989

To comply with the Provision and use of Equipment Regulations 1998

To comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974

Most insurance companies are now demanding compliance of these Regulations. Failure to comply could invalidate Insurance Polices and in the event of injuries or death, resulting from untested appliances,you will then be held personally liable under the Law.
